Terms & Conditions (Rental Terms)

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the RentFor7 website and the rental of CS2 (Counter-Strike 2) skins ("Skins") offered on rentfor7.com (the "Service"). By registering and renting a Skin, you agree to these Terms. The operator of the Service is Luca Oerter, Im Mediapark 10, 50672 Cologne, Germany.

2. Account & Eligibility

To use the Service, you must log in with your Steam account via OpenID. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. You are responsible for keeping your Steam account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

A valid Steam Trade URL is required to receive and return rented Skins. You can set or update your Trade URL in your dashboard.

3. Rental Agreement

Each rental is a temporary usage agreement for a period of 7 days ("Rental Period"). The Rental Period begins when the Skin is delivered to your Steam inventory via trade offer and accepted by you. The rental price shown on the Skin's page is the total price for the full 7-day Rental Period.

Payment is processed upfront via Stripe at the time of checkout. Once payment is confirmed, the trade offer containing the Skin is sent to your Steam account.

4. Delivery

Skins are delivered through Steam trade offers sent from our automated bot account. You must accept the trade offer within 24 hours of receiving it. If the trade offer is not accepted within 24 hours, the rental is cancelled and a full refund is issued automatically.

If the trade offer cannot be completed due to an issue on your end (e.g. invalid Trade URL, inventory set to private, trade hold exceeding 7 days), we will attempt to contact you. If the issue is not resolved within 48 hours, the rental is cancelled and refunded.

5. Early Return

You may return a Skin before the end of the Rental Period and receive a partial refund based on how early you return it. Early return refunds are calculated as follows:

  • Days 1–3 of the Rental Period: 30% of the weekly price refunded.
  • Days 4–5 of the Rental Period: 40% of the weekly price refunded.
  • Day 6+ of the Rental Period: 50% of the weekly price refunded.

To initiate an early return, send a trade offer from your Steam account back to our bot with the rented Skin. Once the trade is accepted, the refund is processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

6. Automatic Return (Day 7)

At the end of the 7-day Rental Period, you must return the Skin by sending a trade offer back to our bot account. If you have not returned the Skin by the end of day 7, the system will automatically send you a trade offer requesting the return of the Skin. You must accept this return trade offer promptly.

If the Skin is not returned within 48 hours after the Rental Period ends, the rental is marked as overdue and additional steps may be taken, including but not limited to contacting Steam support and pursuing the return of the Skin through all available legal and platform channels.

Manual return obligation on failed bot retrieval: If our automated bot is unable to reverse the trade and retrieve the Skin back at the end of the Rental Period — for any reason, including but not limited to a trade hold, a private inventory, an expired or invalid Trade URL, or a failed trade offer — it is your responsibility to send the Skin back to our bot manually via a Steam trade offer within 48 hours of being notified. If you fail to return the Skin manually within this period, you will be charged double (2×) the full market value of the Skin as displayed on the Skin's page at the time of rental. By renting a Skin, you authorize us to charge your payment method for this doubled amount in the event that the bot cannot retrieve the Skin and you do not return it manually.

7. Your Obligations

During the Rental Period, you agree to the following:

  • You will not trade, sell, or otherwise transfer the rented Skin to any account other than our designated bot.
  • You will not modify, tamper with, or attempt to duplicate the Skin.
  • You will not use the Skin for any fraudulent or illegal activity.
  • You will return the Skin in the same condition (same float value, pattern, etc.) as received.
  • You are responsible for the Skin for the entire duration it is in your inventory.

8. Liability for Loss or Damage

You are fully liable for the rented Skin while it is in your possession. If the Skin is lost, stolen, permanently traded away, or otherwise not returned, you will be charged the full market value of the Skin as displayed on the Skin's page at the time of rental. By renting a Skin, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the full market value in case of non-return.

Intentional non-return / theft: Keeping a rented Skin beyond the Rental Period without returning it, or refusing to return it after being asked to do so, constitutes theft and fraud. In such cases, we will file a report with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) atic3.govand provide all relevant information — including your Steam ID, Steam profile, IP address, payment details, and correspondence — to support the investigation and recovery of the Skin or its value.

9. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT. Prices may change at any time, but the price at the time of checkout is binding for your rental. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

10. Coupons & Discounts

Coupons and discount codes may be offered from time to time. Coupons have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may expire. Only one coupon can be used per rental. We reserve the right to revoke coupons that were issued or used in error.

11. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse a rental at any time, including before delivery. If we cancel a rental before delivery, you will receive a full refund. If we cancel after delivery, we will request the return of the Skin and issue a pro-rated refund based on the unused portion of the Rental Period.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The current version is always available on this page. Changes do not affect rentals that are already in progress.

13. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by German law. The place of jurisdiction is Cologne, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
